Provided by YPmobileThe sushi was amazing! Huge rolls and they were delicious. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.

Provided by YP.comSaw a good review and decided to bring my wife and daughter before I leave on a two week trip. Everything went well. What especially impressed me was that the manager suggested for my daughter to try Japanese soda, and she loved it. I already promised my daughter that I will take her back after I return from my trip. -- Andy

Provided by YP.comi have tried sushi at various "buffet" eating establishments and have drawn a conclusion that no matter what i put on it, it just taste nasty. a friend boasted i needed to try this new sushi bar and grill. with my already bad feelings about sushi i decided sure why not and i am glad i did. the service was good, the sushi was very good. i even ate eel. if you ever in doubt about trying sushi try this place. ask for Chance to be your waiter. you wont regret.
super place and Chance is a super waiter.

Provided by YP.comToro has been open for 3 months, this was our first visit. I live really close to Toro and WILL be going back. Didn't have to wait long for a table on a Saturday night, the hostess was VERY friendly, she told us the bartender's name and said we could have a drink at the bar while we waited. Waited 5 minutes for a table at the hibachi. Waitress was new, didn't know the menu but was very friendly. Chef was entertaining but didn't speak much, great for us since we wanted to talk to each other. We didn't get to see any of the other chefs cook since we got there late, seems to be a more grown-up atmosphere, not many kids.
When seated, the other guests seemed to be having a great time. loved the traditional ginger salad and soup before the meal. His hibachi steak was a little overcooked, but still flavorful. My hibachi chicken was a little salty, but the vegetables and shrimp appetizer were amazing! They serve hibachi noodles as part of the meal, which were lo mein- like, but know that fried rice is $2.50 extra, the waitress failed to mention that (which I mentioned when we received our bill). Took a container of green tea icecream home, tasted homemade, not bought... very yummy.
