Jotham W. Wakeman School serves more than 1,000 students in prekindergarten through grade eight. The school is a member of the Jersey City Public Schools and is located in Jersey City, N.J. The school has a library that offers a collection of geographical reference sources, general reference materials, biographical sources, books and catalogs. The school s core curriculum areas include math, science, social studies, music, physical education, health, art, English, reading, writing and technology. It organizes a wide variety of events, such as exit day ceremony, family fun night, graduation day celebration, and graduation and kindergarten barbeque. Jotham W. Wakeman School also provides student membership to various projects, including book fair, family and community reach-out, graduation donations, and monthly meetings and parental support.
