I applied my home mortgage from Heritage Financial Corp mortgage broker. I requested them to locked my mortgage rate after loan approval. Every time they say dont worry we will do it and rates are high. After so many request they never locked my rate and never disclosed to me that they already locked the rate. I was fighting for rate lock till last day of my closing. When I told them it is not fair that you locked my rate without my concern they threatened me to stop the loan. Me and my family was so stressed till last day. It was a nightmare experience of my life. We were not sure that our closing will be done on time. People get excited that they are buying home but this company spoiled all happiness. I have to accept everything to save my closing on time. It looks like scam to hold person till last day so that he will not have any option/time to go for another loan. I will not recommend this broker to anyone.
