Very strange doctor. She is rough and a little crazy but having my husband watch her the whole time, every time I saw her, she delivered a healthy baby and sewed me up pretty well. You have to have someone with you that will speak up and she does what she is supposed to do.

I went to this doctor three months ago and I'm still so upset that I had to write a review. She is just too old. I don't care how old my doctors are, and I prefer to go to ones with more experience actually, but she is clearly someone who should have retired long ago. She doesn't care about her job or patients at all. She's checked out. I was a new patient and she paid no attention to me. She didn't leave the room while I was changing, she left the foreceps in me and went about her business, she scolded me when I said I wasn't sure whether I had an infection and asked her for help. I had questions and she basically wrote them in my chart but didn't answer them! The office doesn't even call you back with results. I have to spend more money on a better doctor now (and insurance won't cover it) because I don't even trust her to have done the tests right. Never go to Lily Gonzalez.

The most horrible experience in my life. When doing a pap smear, she did not warn me she was going in with the forceps and literally shoved them in. I screamed and jumped in pain. That's when she said, Oh, sorry. She then proceeded to clamp the foreceps open and LEAVE THEM OPEN INSIDE OF ME as I heard her rummage around, opening and closing drawers and opening and throwing away paper products and she looked for her supplies necessary to complete the procedure. She was obviously not prepared at all. Once she removed them, I heard her run them under water and then put them in a drawer. Yuck. I couldn't believe she was so barbaric because she had such a sweet disposition. My cervix literally hurt until the next day. And this woman delivers babies. I can't even imagine. Needless to say, I will never, ever return for any type of care to this woman.

I went to see Dr. Lily Gonzalez , 2 weeks ago and she diagnosed me and prescribed me the wrong medication, I had a staph infection I found out later seeing another doctor in NYC. Dr. Gonzalez, told me that I had Herpes and prescribed me Zovirax ointment and Valtrex for 6 months, luckily I just purchased for a month and took this medication for 5 days, which cost me over $500, since it didnt help and I was getting worse I went to a clinic in chelsea NYC, and Dr, Saed Mahen told me that I had the staph bacteria and prescibed me bactrim which is an antibiotic that kills the bacteria I had. I DON'T recommand Dr. Gonzalez to anyone. She cost me much more pain and suffering, along with over $500. If you are sick you are better of googling the symptoms, then going to Dr. Gonzalez. What a nightmare she put me trough.
