Started as Faribault Bus Company, ABC Companies operates as a supplier of replacement parts to the transit and coach market. Established in 1972, it offers services, such as repair, mechanical, collision repair and custom graphics/paint services for bus and recreational vehicle. In May 2007, ABC Companies opened of a new parts warehouse in Garden Grove, Calif., which serves as the company s primary West Coast parts facility. The new warehouse represents a total of 30,000 square feet of dedicated parts warehouse space in the West Coast region. In June 2007, ABC Companies announced the acquisition of Muncie Transit Supply including its Ontario, Canada, subsidiary, Baker Transit Parts. The company is in partnership with Van Hool Manufacturing, Thor Industries and General Coach of America (GCA).
