Valley Elementary School, opened in 1967, enrolls more than 450 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school s curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, mathematics, history, science, fine arts, and health and physical education. The school s curriculum also includes instruction in computer application, music and band. In addition, Valley Elementary School offers special, speech, and gifted and talented education, as well as counseling programs. The school s lunch menu includes chicken strips, macaroni and cheese and sandwiches. Located in Jefferson, Md., Valley Elementary School also organizes a range of educational and extracurricular activities for students, teachers and parents.
