Jefferson Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. The school s academic course includes subjects, such as language arts, social studies, math and science. It offers participation options in several athletic activities, such as softball, football and volleyball. The school provides guidance counseling and lunch services. Jefferson Middle School also manages a girl's walking club and student council. The school operates a library media center that offers access to a variety of guides, encyclopedias and dictionaries. It administers the English Language Learners program. The school provides instruction in physical education, chorus, Spanish and band. It manages PATS, which is a support organization for teachers and parents. Jefferson Middle School is a part of Jefferson City Schools.
