As a nephrologist, Dr. Blake Jay Brooks specializes in care for patients with end stage kidney disease and chronic kidney disease as well as those on dialysis. In addition, he cares for patients with difficult to control hypertension, fluid and electrolyte disorders.Dr. Brooks obtained his medical degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia where he also completed an internship, residency & fellowship.Dr. Brooks served as chief resident at the University Hospitals & Clinics in Columbia, Missouri. He was also named Nephrology Fellow of the Year.He is married and has 3 children. He is an avid cyclist and wanna-be golfer.
