General Info

Special Olympics Alaska's overall direction comes from a 25-member board of directors. A volunteer body, the board is comprised of legislators, corporate and community leaders, business professionals, educators, sports experts, caring citizens and Special Olympics athletes. Their role is to develop and monitor results of broad policies that govern implementation of organizational plans and purposes.
