I have known Dr. Lewis since I moved here with one dog, Maggie, a Sheltie, and one cat. At that time, he worked at Appalachian Animal Hospital here in Ellijay. We saw, over time, Dr. Lewis, Dr. Cipullo and Dr. McClendon and were impressed with all of them. They were all good veterinarians, and they had a good staff. At some point, the business was sold to VCA out of California. I would rather deal with a local business than a large conglomerate. So, we followed Dr. Lewis to Jasper. He is such a wonderful, caring, knowledgeable vet. He is also very thoughtful and understanding when an animal has to be put down.
He has a great staff who are professional and friendly. His office is always neat and clean. If only I could convince my dogs that it's fun to ride to Jasper.
