Founded in 1985, Curry Middle School offers a variety of academic and extracurricular options. Its curriculum includes classes in math, art, science and English. The school offers various physical education programs, as well as operates a cafeteria. It also maintains a library and media center that includes a range of books and reference and instructional materials. The school conducts a variety of activities that includes parent-teacher conferences and field trips. Located in Jasper, Ala., it offers various programs in sports, including cheerleading. In addition, the school provides special and gifted education programs. Curry Middle School is a part of the Walker County Public School System that operates a technology center and high, elementary and alternative education schools.
