Curry Elementary School provides learning opportunities to students in kindergarten through grade four. It offers academic instruction in science, mathematics, social studies and language arts. The school additionally conducts art, music, and health and physical education classes. Curry Elementary School also operates a Head Start program. It has a parent-teacher organization that organizes several fundraising events and sponsors educational programs. The school is located in Jasper, Ala., and is a part of the Walker County Public School System, which governs nearly five high schools, eight elementary junior high schools, two middle schools, four elementary schools and an alternative school.
