- Medical Weight LossPERTUSSIS (aP), also known as "whooping cough," can cause uncontrollable, violent coughing which makes it hard to breathe, eat, or drink. Pertussis can be extremely serious in babies and young children, causing pneumonia, convulsions, brain damage, or death. In teens and adults, it can cause weight loss, loss of bladder control, passing out, and rib fractures from severe coughing.
- Pediatric CareMeet our friendly, experienced staff! Our pediatricians and medical staff are highly trained professionals, and maintain the highest level of accreditation in pediatrics to address the special needs of infants, children, and teens. The entire team is dedicated to helping you and your child feel at home from the moment your walk through the door.
- Primary CareYou have graduated from using a pediatric provider as your primary care provider for your health and medical needs! Due to your age, you must choose an adult primary care physician for your medical care. We require a written letter signed by you, (the patient) indicating the physician and/or practice you would like your records sent to. There is a $20.00 transfer fee.
- Ear InfectionsColds, upper respiratory infections, and URIs are common terms we use to describe viral illnesses that cause nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, fever, and cough. The fever usually lasts for 2-3 days, and the cough with congestion and runny nose may last for 5-10 days. The typical preschool-age child may experience 6-10 colds per year. Most colds resolve on their own with rest and fluids, but some may lead to ear infection, sinus infection, asthma attack, or other complications. If you are concerned about the possibility of one of these complications, please have your child seen in our office for an evaluation.
- Emergency CareAfter our office is closed, you may still call our main office number to speak with our triage service. If a life-threatening situation ever develops, go directly to the nearest emergency room or call 911.
