I can only relate my experiences with Mr. Patterson over the past 28 years. He has handled my modest transactions in NC real estate since then, although I live in PA. While I was doing a Starker 1031 exchange, getting out of a property in NC and into 3 properties in PA, things were spiraling out of control; partly because the other party and I were too involved ourselves between 2 attys in PA and Mr. P. Finally I asked Mr. P to take the reins and conference with the other 2 attys and he snapped things right into line for a quick closing. Mr. P and I were the only ones who had done this before. I could see the light come on for the other party & one of the attys who had never heard of a 1031 exchange. They thought it was really cool. They have since gone on to do other such exchanges. I enjoy knowing Mr. P. He's a real gentleman.
