If I could give zero stars I would. These people are the definition of slum lords. All they care about is making an extra dime, and they use Marines and their commands as an ATM. They will call your command . one day they had my lawn mowed and I asked the person mowing how much they were being paid. They said forty dollars. Later, the Crooms told me they had paid 120 dollars. The property was bug infested. Upon move out, I hired a cleaning service to clean the house, yet they called my sergeant major and told him my house was "filthy" and send my 1st sgt to inspect it. She inspected it up and down, it was perfect. Not only did they keep my entire 750 dollar deposit, but then sent me a bill for an extra 2,000 dollars ! Charges ranged from $160 dollars to wipe down door, 200 dollars to replace drip pans....they even barged me for two more mini blinds than there were in the house. I did not pay and they did not pursue as they knew it was illegal. Worst nightmare in the world. Its been several years and I still make sure to post reviews when I can to help other renters and Marines . by the way, they post their own reviews to off set all the actual 1 star reviews. If you read carefully, you will notice that every good review is unrealistic and fabricated.

As soon as I moved in my hot water heater went out. It was fixed the same day. Front porch step broke, same story... fixed the same day. I recommend that when You move in You give a discrepancy list as it will void a lot of maintenance charges if and when You decide to move out, The Crooms are good honest people who strive to do their best for their tenants and their property. As far as bugs are concerned... it's called an exterminator.. call one. It is not the landlords responsibility to clean up Your mess. If there were bugs there when You move in, that's another story! They have done right by me and I will continue to do right by them!

My name is Terika Allen I rented from Croom rentals about a year ago they were very good home owners, they were very understanding extremely easy to talk to..... the best landlords I've rented from. The property i rented was very clean and the price was reasonable.... Mrs Croom is a sweet heart! They took care of any problem i had with the property i rented right away.....the area i stayed in was a nice quiet area Mr. Croom kept the lawn cut very nice. So my experience with Croom rentals was great.... The best thing was... I've rented from people and when you move they don't give any of the deposit back.... When i moved out of the place I rented from Croom rentals i got my deposit back.... So they are very great, nice people, very fair people to rent from.
