I have been a patron of this store for many years. They have a business card center at the counter to the right as you enter the store. I’ve seen various small businesses leave their business cards as they are patrons of the store and value the opportunity for the store to help promote their business. I decided to take advantage of this great opportunity, Today I received a call from the store. The lady told me to come pick up my business cards as the owner would only permit business that deal with hair to leave their cards. I did feel some type of way about this. I went to the store to retrieve my cards, and later spoke with several friends and colleagues to get their opinion. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn’t feeling extra because it just didn’t sit right with me.
I felt like this business didn’t not support my business while knowing that I was supporting theirs. When I retrieved my cards, I did notice that the cards for nail shops and barbershops were permitted to stay. In my mind, I’m almost positive that those businesses most likely order the bulk of their supplies online. I will NOT shop at this business again as I don’t think it is fair to pick and choose which businesses they will support while they are open to collecting money from any patron. By the way, my business is real estate, not like I am a business competing with theirs.

The owner is very rude. I went in to return some hair that I had purchased the same day and she was making smart comments about the hair to one of her employees. I'm standing at the register listening to her and I ask her if I can just exchange the hair and she just stares at me and giggles. I was planning on exchanging the hair for something else but after she brushed me off I just got a refund and went to another beauty store.

I Shop at Beauty Depot periodically love the wide variety of things they have to choose from..I think its the biggest beauty supply in Jacksonville!! I haven't had any trouble with any employees until one afternoon me and my daughter walk in then store..instead of being greeted with an hello two heavy set woman are looking me and my daughter up and down with dirty looks ..it seemed one had made a joke or a comment about us because they started laughing hysterically while still staring at us.. it made me feel a a little uncomfortable..but i kinda brushed it off and continued shopping... then i overheard the lady that was at the cashier say As CLEAR AS DAY (THERE RATCHED) and broke..Now I'm not that young ..but as my daughter tells me Ratched is NOT A GOOD THING..as they continued doing (NOTHING) they did not ask us if we needed HELP one TIME..I've never been TREATED LIKE this in this store before Where someone makes me feel like that.. Instead of putting everything back (LIKE I SHOULD HAVE) i proceeded to check out..I ask the the heavy set cashier here name.. with a smirk on her face SHE REPLIED JAIY and that she also is THE ASSISTANT MANAGER..This Place will never get another dollar From me or anyone i Know ..because ill be sure to let them know about this place..How I'm I going to shop at a place were the management is so unprofessional!!.. I would expect that from lower grade associates.. but not management!!.. That is so trashy to be in a position of power and carry yourself like that !!!!!!!#TERMINATION..then maybe we can come back!!

I haven't had a problem with poor customer service from the Asian woman. She has always been polite and helpful, unless she is on the phone. However, her staff has usually stepped in to help. The only issue I had was buying the wrong hair for my daughter's twist. But I will chalk that up to me not following the youtube vlogger's instructions well enough. They are cheaper than the other places in town.

If you wanna deal with an ignorant staff and management. Do not give this place your hard earn money. Some of the Employees were very rude show poor customer service and the managers wife (Asian woman ) has no respect . you come through to check out and shes unwelcoming looking at the ground until i say hello. very racist place gives the minority employee the bare minimum.... bottom line if you wanna deal with being dissatisfied waste your money here if no I would recommend sallys beauty lol

I frequent this hair shop as much as I can and the selection is awesome. The best in the area for the cheap customers and those that dont mind paying for good quality. I love this store and the customer service I get all the time is awesome. The staff know how to help you when you are not sure what you may want. This place rocks!!!!!!!!!

i.e., A local favorite, or highly recommended becauseHorrible, horrible customer service!, Not only from the store employee but also the store manager. It's sad when customer pay their hard earned money only to receive poor service & see that management approves of that behavior. Not only does he approve of their RUDE behavior, but it obvious that they can give incorrect information, & he does not correct their mistake or their behavior. I will continue to do service at the other beauty supply or online & never ever visit this place again!!!!!
