This a.m.,I called to cancel my service. It's awkward & embarrassing for me to cancel so many of our services due to financial hardship. I assure you, I wasn't rude -- I just wanted to cancel rather than discuss lower fees, reason for canceling, etc. The man I spoke with was SO rude & unprofessional. He said he would have offered a lower fee, but because of my attitude, he wouldn't. Then he hung up. Am I wrong or is that a horrid way to treat a customer? I was saddened that some people can't understand how difficult it is to have to make that call in the first place -- only to be treated so callously. When our friends started choosing new alarm services after not being served properly by Ortega Security, I defended them. Not any more. I will tell anyone and everyone how awful I was treated. I called once before because our dog kept jumping on the couch & setting off the alarm while I was gone. This same man told me to teach my 15 yr old dog to quit jumping on the couch.Classic!!
