Wish I could give NO STARS!! I brought my car to Rainbow Muffler to get my car fixed. As the mechanic fixed the initial problem, my car caught fire from him welding the piece. He said it was only a leaf that caught fire. After leaving there, my car begin to have more problems. I spoke to owner and he said bring it back. I had to charge my battery because it died. He had me to purchase a battery as well. I took it back, he said that he saw that my radiator fam was staying on. He said that was not something to do with what they did. He I took it to another shop because I didn't know. The first thing they asked was if I knew my car was in a fire. They replaced several parts because from it catching fire it caused the radiator to over heat and a few other problems. I had to also have it towed. I kept calling Scott at Rainbow Muffler but he would "never be there". I would stop by and thwy woukd say they didn't know when he would be in. Finally I got him after I picked my car up from the other shop because it still wouldn't work but I couldn't spend more money. Those repairs coated $900. Scott got my car and said it was a belt that broke and he fixed it. Well my car ran hot by the time I got 2 miles away. I called him back but nothing. He had me to bring copies of whay the other shop did because I asked for reimbursement. He never got back to me. After months of no response and him dodging me, I finally got him last week. I finally got the money to take it to a shop and they told me that my car had been burned and they didn't fixed the car. Scott had me to bring my car. He never have me an update and aftrr a week finally he says that they will not fox problem with my car. I still have a no working car and it hasn't worked since I took it to him the first time.

I have gone to Rainbow muffler off Cassatt Ave when it was owned by the older gentlemen now it's owned by the son and it has gone down since then. I went into the store and asked for my catalytic converter a to be cutt off my 2001 Lincoln Navigator. Oh after waiting 3.5 hours they did it and did it wrong. Afterwards I had a loud noise like something was falling off the bottom of the truck. I called up their and he said bring it in early in the morning at 8 am first come first serve. We I am in the medical field and when we have a upset Patient come in we tend to that Patient asap. So I had to take it to a company down the street from them. The man looked at the truck and said wow why did they mess your truck up. He had to fix the noise and yet still it is making a noise. I call up there again and send my mechanic to talk to them they still say they will put me on am waiting list. Really you all messed this up fix it asap. I have made a complaint to bbb and will continue to complain everywhere I can. On work to hard for my money to have it taken away from me.

cheap for welding needed already had exhaust gave to them they welded it on my car best price in jax always busy though

Pleaae pleaae do your home work before taking your car to this place there rated a F with BBB I learned after the did a botched job on my vehicle there only n it for the Money not customer satisfaction.

I called for an est on a break job, I am so glad I called before I went in to get my car serviced. Not only are they rude but they are over priced!!!! I always give reviews good or bad I just want everyone to call before you just drop your car off and see first how the customer service is. This is for the Cassat Ave location I am not writing about the Philips location...I am not sure about them.

Service was excellent. I went in with a damaged exhaust not knowing the problem. They told me that all they would have to do was weld the parts back together. They did not try and sell me on new parts or try and scam me. They were very honest. I also overheard a conversation between a mechanic and the manager in regards to another car in the shop. The mechanic was worried that he would break a nut on a wheel because whoever put it on previously (at another shop) put it on too tight. Instead of just going forward and potentially breaking it, they called the client to let them know and get permission to proceed. I beleive that is the type of service you can trust knowing that you are getting a very competitive price and honest answers. I will be back.
