The first aspect that stands out to me about this retailer is the amazing in-stock selection. It's a little overwhelming. I was able to tile my kitchen in Travertine for under $2 per square foot and put down oak floors in my living room for $2.39 per square foot. Although the associates appeared to be overmatched by the amount of customers in the store, I was quickly assisted as soon as possible and found the associates to be much more helpful and knowledgeable than other home supply retailers. My floors look gorgeous and the thousand dollar savings I acquired made up for the 5 minutes I had to wait for assistance. I would recommend this retailer to anyone without hesitation.
As of today 12.28.07. I have been in the Blanding Blvd. Store ATLEAST 10 times. I must admit the first time i was there to buy a significant amount of floor tile for an addition that my company was building for a client and that experience was not good. We were not able to get very much help and when it came time for check out, we first wrote a check but there policy is to call and make sure that funds are available.Understandable. However,we stood there while the cashier was on hold awaiting to talk to someone when we all know that there are 800 #'s for all banks with an automated service to find out if the amount was in the account. So after 10 minutes.I decided to just use my check card instead. When we do job we like to use a check to show receipt of the amount. Anyway, then we went to load up and theywouldn'tt let us until we had a receipt but the women who checks that was right there during verification that payment went through.Ask for assistance loading and check for broken tile
