Stay away or suffer the consequences. Head of maintenance installed a defective altimeter and didn't even know it because he doesn't know how an altimeter works! Also told me I had a brake leak when it was a fuel leak. Had I not insisted he double check I'd be dead right now. Glad when I got my plane out of there.
