Founded in 1904, Clara White Mission is a nonprofit organization that serves children, adults and senior citizens. The organization offers temporary housing, vocational training and case management services. It provides mental health assessment, substance abuse education and crisis intervention services. Clara White Mission features nutritional food programs that feed more than 400 individuals each day. In addition, the organization operates the Greater Expectations Youth program, which organizes golf and tennis instruction, academic tutorial and activity sessions for children between the ages of 6 and 17. It has partnerships with the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, Northeast Florida Community Action Agency, Boys and Girls Club and First Coast Apartment Association.
