Our builders have over thirty plus years' experience in building and remodeling. CEO of Northwest Builders Jackson Hole, Scott McIntire, was born and raised on the coast of Maine. He grew up in a family of carpenters. Started working in his grandfather's building company as a young boy. Cleaning the shop and jobsites was a frequent task. His favorite time was riding with his grandfather to jobsites to check on the crews. In the process of these daily rituals he grew accustomed to interacting with clients. His grandfather taught him the basics of carpentry at a young age. The carpentry trade runs long in the McIntire family. Scott's Great-Great grandfather moved from Scotland and located on Mount Desert Island. He purchased what became the Jordan Pond house in Seal Harbor Me. He remodeled the entire restaurant. This skill has passed on in generation to generation. Scott started working for his grandfather on a full time basis in his teens. He eventually took over the family business establishing himself as a builder and property manager for numerous summer homes. Building new homes and remodeling was a primary trade. As with his Great-Great granddad he decided to spread his wings and make a move to explore new country. He moved to SC and worked as a lead man for a remodeling company in Greenville. Working on numerous plantation homes. After a year in SC Scott made the move west. Working for several remodeling companies throughout the Jackson area. He eventually moved to Sheridan and worked for a custom home builder for several years. The pull of the mountains drew him back to Jackson. Scott decided to finally put his knowledge and skill back into his own company again. This experience of years in the building industry benefits his clientele.
