Johan Reyes, M.D., is Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Fellowship-trained Pain Specialist. Dr. Reyes specializes in interventional pain management and medication management. He treats patients who suffer from chronic and acute pain, utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach to pain recovery. Some of the treatments offered include epidurals, facet blocks, nerve blocks, and a variety of other spinal injections and procedures. He completed his Anesthesiology Residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2015. He was nominated by the Faculty and his peers to serve as Chief Resident. He was awarded the Albert P. Shih Humanitarian Award and went on to finish a Pain Medicine Fellowship at Mount Sinai St. Lukes Roosevelt in 2016 where he focused on Interventional Pain Management. From 2007-2011, Dr. Reyes attended Rutgers New Jersey Medical School where he obtained his medical degree and was awarded and admitted to the Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society for demonstrating excellence in clinical care, leadership, compassion, and dedication to service. He finished his Internship at Hofstra Northshore- Long Island Jewish in Internal Medicine in 2012. Dr. Reyes obtained his undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Science in Physics with Honors, from Rutgers College in 2005.
