Jackson Middle School, located in Jackson, Mo., is part of Jackson R-2 School District. It enrolls more than 750 students in grades six and seven. It uses creative problem-solving activities to provide an educational environment where students can discover and use their full potential. The teachers coordinate curriculum and resources with the students as the focal point The school offers a comprehensive educational program, including core subjects, such as mathematics, language arts, social studies and science. Community service projects are part of each grade. All students are invited to take part in the school newspaper and student council, as well as various sports, such as football, basketball and swimming.
