A unique re-creation of a civilian fort built by settlers living in Belmont township of Jackson County in the 1860s. Items of interest include a log cabin with stockade, sod house, blacksmith shop, grist mill, lookout tower, farmhouse with summer kitchen, 1902 church and a museum. Open Memorial Day through Labor Day.
