Founded in 1969, Northeast Elementary is an academic institution that serves more than 725 students in pre-kindergarten through grade six. The school s facilities include a playground, resource rooms and over 30 classrooms. It also maintains media and parents centers. Northeast Elementary offers the English as a Second Language program and organizes several academic games. The school operates a weather and radio station. It additionally has a band and student council. Northeast Elementary provides participation opportunities in Girl Scouts and Peace Buddies.
