General Info
Birria-Landia Food truck started in the fall of 2019 in Jackson Heights, a neighborhood of Queens in the city of New York. The truck was born from the idea of José and Jesús Moreno , two brothers from Puebla, town of Coatzingo, Mexico. Jesús specialized in American Cuisine and José specialized in Italian cuisine, working for about 20 years in restaurants including Lupa, Parm and Del Posto. In 2013, José was sent to Chicago to help open Eataly, the famous Italian eatery & food market and then he was sent to help open Eataly in the city of Los Angeles, which is where he fell in love for the beefy charms of "Tijuana-style birria de res". The birria at Birria-Landia is Tijuana-style birria de res, beef marinated and cooked in an adobo of mesmerizing complexity for about 5 hours everyday. The meat is a blend of brisket, shank and top round that is super tender as you eat it. n order to make it the ultimate experience, the Tacos must be dipped into the Consome, which is the birria brothBirria-Landia Food truck started in the fall of 2019 in Jackson Heights, a neighborhood of Queens in the city of New York.
