      Family & Children's Service of Ithaca is a private, nonprofit provider of mental health services in Tompkins County, N.Y., for children, adolescents, adults, seniors and families. The agency was founded in 1885 and provides home health care, employee assistance and youth services programs. Family & Children's Service of Ithaca is approved by the State of New York as an adoption agency and training center for home health aides. Its clinical practice is licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health as an outpatient clinic. The agency is a member of the United Way of Tompkins County, the Human Service Coalition and the New York State Association of Family Service Agencies.
