Cayuga Place Apartments are modern with IKEA fixtures and open floorplans. If you are looking to rent an apartment within the city of Ithaca, you would be hard pressed to find anything like it. However, the poor construction and disrespectful management combined with the high price, made me move out and rent a house. PROS: Great location; Beautiful floor to ceiling windows; elevator; 2008 construction. CONS: (1) Condescending and generally unhelpful management; (2) Parking is not included. Expect to pay $56/month (2010 rate) on top of high rent and to walk up 3 flights of stairs; (3) Thin, cheaply constructed walls and ceilings; (4) Minimal storage in bathroom and kitchen.
