JX Crystals is a spin-off from the Boeing Company with licenses for key patents on infrared sensitive Gallium Antimonide photovoltaic cells. JX Crystals provides thermo and solar photovoltaic products that work together to generate heat and electricity, by combining renewable solar energy with efficient use of fossil fuels. The company s product designs are based on operation at high power densities where photovoltaic cells are most efficient and with materials chosen to cover the broad energy spectrum from visible sunlight to infrared heat. It also has an international patent position on a novel, low cost solar photovoltaic module design and has started a new wholly owned subsidiary in China, Shanghai JX Solar Energy Co., Ltd., to manufacture and market this product in China while retaining global export rights. JX Crystals is headquartered in Issaquah, Wash.
