My family and I visited the Splash gift shop this evening because we were drawn in by the kites that were hanging outside. We inquired about a particular style and the young girl behind the counter didn't give us the time of day. She was not interested in helping us with our request. After waiting on her to stop texting on her personal phone, I asked her if I could come behind the counter to look myself for the item we wanted, she rolled her eyes and acted as if we were bothering her. I am embarrassed that a shop would have an employee that would treat a customer in this manner. I am from Charleston and happened to be staying at the beach with my out of town family. I am sorry for the tourist in this great state to have to put up with lackadaisical people such as this young woman. We walked out without purchasing our balloon kite. The owner should be ashamed to have this kind of service.
