General Info
Dr. Adya is board certified in internal medicine and has always built her philosophy of care around her passion for preventative medicine. She believes that prevention is always better than having to provide care after the fact. She brings to Healthcare Associates of Texas a wide range of experience in various outpatient procedures, complex medical conditions, and geriatrics, among others. Dr. Adya completed her residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago and then spent 15 years practicing medicine in Cincinnati where she ran a very successful practice. Eventually Texas beckoned to their family – both the weather and the economy – which brought her to Healthcare Associates of Texas. Happily married with two daughters, Dr. Adya and her family love to vacation anywhere and everywhere, and especially love to go hiking. In her free time she enjoys yoga, listening to music, needlework, spending time with her family, and going to the theatre/arts. Dr. Adya speaks Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, and English fluently.

Dr Adya has been caring for me and I always feel safe and comfortable with her. I have sent my dearest friends to her. Even when I go on vacation, she always come to mind because of her way of making me feel like a person who matters. I would send my daughters to her if they were close. She always includes my feelings when she does something new in my treatment. And the staff there has been with her for a long time. And they are as caring as she is. Pamela was great but Joanna was rude! She accused me of canceling my appointment while I didnt even have that option to confirm/cancel as I couldn't even get passed security code!
