Estill County Middle School has an enrollment of more than 700 students in grades six through eight. It is a public school and is affiliated with the Estill County School District. The school s curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as English, mathematics, science, social studies, foreign language, fine arts, career and technology and physical education. It provides various extracurricular activities to students, such as dramatics, music, orchestra, scholar bowl and key, French and Spanish clubs. The school has a library and media center and provides career counseling to students. The sports activities offered by the school include soccer, softball, volleyball, basketball, baseball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf and tennis.
