- EMPIRE SALON SUPPORTS LOCAL ARTISTS Every two months Empire allows a local artist to showcase their work in the salon. Empire does not do this to make money,we just want to support the local artists and help give them exposure. We show photography, abstract and traditonal paintings. Our clients always look forward to seeing what is going to be up and we have sold quite a few pieces. Anyone interested in showing their work please contact the salon.

I got the information about the Salon and read the reviews. So off I went this morning. I needed my hair to be trimmed and layed with the length I have because I really want to grow my hair back to shoulder length.I requested for a hairstylist with good experience working with Asian hair. He said they all are good because there are a lot of Asians coming in. So he signed me to a girl, who was very chatty. I explained to her what I want and I did not see she was hitting the point, so I explained again and again. It was not what I wanted. Too much hair got cut off and there was no hair style! But it was not cheap, $40 with 20% off for fist time customers. I tipped her $5.00. Then I really disliked the look of myself with the haircut! I put 10 years of age on me. I won't go there again.
I was recommended to this Salon by a friend of mine and I found it to be a very pleasant experience. The stylist's name is Jaime Crites and she is absolutely wonderful. The staff was very sweet and accomodating. I do not have a lot of money to spend on hair cuts and color but I found their prices to be resonable for the area and for the service they offer. Everyone was very nice and I didn't feel the least bit intimidated or pressured to purchase anything extra. I would highly recommend this salon and it's entire staff.
