Founded in 1952, Del Mar Avionics designs, develops, manufactures and markets precision load-positioning systems and aerospace electronic products. It has a manufacturing plant located on more than 175,000 square feet of land. The company has various divisions, including defense and hydra set precision load-positioning systems. Its hydra set precision load-positioning systems are used in various applications, including satellites, component load testing, fuel rod placements, turbine bearing changes, bearing inspection and machinery loading. The company also provides various other accessories, such as remote control console, remote linear travel display, remote weight display, metric load gauge, positive fluid retention systems, hook rotation and wireless remote control. Its defense division serves various clients worldwide, including the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Air Force, Kenyan Air Force and Tunisian Air Force.
