- Behavioral CounselingWe will then recommend appropriate diagnostic tests, immunizations, diets, etc. to keep your pet in optimal health. Since your pets are instinctually programmed to hide pain or medical conditions and cannot tell us when something is wrong, we need to be proactive in running appropriate diagnostics to detect disease early when it can be more effectively treated. This will also allow us to gather information about what is normal for your pet so that we can watch for trends in the tests over time. Based upon our findings, we can make specific recommendations for diet, exercise, treatment, behavior modification or further testing. We offer all of this to help you ensure that your pet receives the best care available.
- Comprehensive ExaminationOur internal medicine service allows for diagnosis of most medical conditions affecting pets. We begin with a comprehensive examination. The examination findings are then used to determine a diagnostic plan that usually can be done in our hospital within one to two days. Our hospital possesses up-to-date diagnostic equipment including an complete laboratory, radiology (x-rays), endoscopy, etc.

- MicrochippingMicrochipping has become a very popular and safe way to permanently identify your pet and you as the owner in the unfortunate case that your pet is lost. Microchipping involves placement of a small electronic chip the size and shape of a piece of rice just under the skin in the neck area. A needle is used to inject the chip. The injection is comparable to a regular vaccine injection.
