Was recommend to try this place for breakfast. Walked in to a Sunday brunch rush, but didn't have to wait long for a table (which was lucky because this place is SMALL and there's no place to stand and wait). Service was slower as you'd expect with a rush but Tina was apologetic and helpful. My omelette was inexpensive and delicious! They make homemade breads which taste just like my grandmother's. Overall a great hometown-style diner for a rustic UP brunch.

I have only had breakfast there, but I hear the grilled cheese on their homemade bread is exceptional. What I love there is the farmer's omelet. It comes with hashbrowns and either pancakes or toast. I don't actually need to eat for the rest of the day after that. My son ordered the cinnamon roll with a shrt stack and a side of bacon. The cinnamon roll was as big as his head. He didn't eat his pancakes. The cinnamon rolls are better than Cinnabon and a great value at the price. It is enough to share. I brought three of them to work to split between about 30 people. The areas best cafe. A average selection of breakfasts and lunches. Excellent prices and very good portions. If your in the area I highly recommend it.
