The Ipswich Family YMCA is a nonprofit organization that serves more than 3,000 members. It houses a six-lane swimming pool, gymnasium, multipurpose room and fitness area. The organization offers adventure programs in rock climbing, water rafting, orienteering, archery and pioneering. The Ipswich Family YMCA offers a variety of sports activities, such as soccer, T-ball, baseball, lacrosse, floor hockey and basketball. Its after-school programs include homework assistance, swimming lessons, and arts and crafts. The organization offers health and wellness programs that include yoga, martial arts, Pilates, step aerobics, fitness dance and body conditioning classes. The Ipswich Family YMCA is located in Ipswich, Mass., and is owned and operated by the YMCA of the North Shores.
