In operation since 1993, United States Veterans is one of the largest nonprofit organizations in the United States that provides shelter to homeless veterans. It specializes in providing housing, clinical counseling and employment assistance services. The organization offers the Non-Custodial Father's Program, which provides parenting classes and reunites fathers with their children. United States Veterans also provides substance abuse treatment, as well as employment, mental health and case management services. In addition, the organization provides the ADVANCE Women's, Homeless Veterans Outreach and Sobriety Support Programs. Headquartered in Inglewood, Calif., United States Veterans has other offices in Houston, Las Vegas and Los Angles.
