Founded in 2003, Dr. Reynaldo J. Carreon Jr. Academy School serves more than 700 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school s academic curriculum includes classes in language arts, math, reading and science. It also has a library that offers a range of books and resource materials. Dr. Reynaldo J. Carreon Jr. Academy School provides counseling and transportation services. In addition, the school operates a parent-teacher organization that encourages parental involvement in children s education. Dr. Reynaldo J. Carreon Jr. Academy School maintains a location in Indio, Calif. The school is a part of the Desert Sands Unified School District, which serves students in kindergarten through grade 12.
