United Hospital Services is a company with a history of steady growth designed to meet the needs of an ever-changing health care market. The mission of UHS is to launder excellent quality linen for Indianapolis area hospitals while maintaining the highest standards in cost control, value engineering, delivery, and customer satisfaction. In 1964, UHS became a corporation and began to service the Indianapolis area. Five hospitals founded UHS. These include Community East, St. Francis - Beech Grove, Wishard, IU Hospital and St. Vincent Fall Creek. Its products and services include hospital linen, clinical linen, operating room linen and packs, garments, VIP linen, dust control, exchange carts and on-site laundry management. United Hospital Services maintains a location in Indianapolis.
