The Brass Ring is one of the best bars in Indianapolis hands down, especially in the summer. They always have Turner Classic Movies on the tvs and the bartenders are dressed to the nines. Great decor and good draft beer selection. The food is really good and pretty healthy for bar food, though the nachos don't beat the Old Point's. In the summer you can sit outside and watch interesting happenings in Fountain Square. The Brass Ring is a newer bar and in my opinion one of Indianapolis's hidden treasures. If you come of a first Friday go there before or after seeing the many art shows in Fountain Square. Fountain Square has the most art galleries in the city and I highly recommend visiting on a first Friday.
