Rhoades Elementary School educates more than 800 students in grades kindergarten through six. The school provides academic programs in English, mathematics, social studies and science, and is located in Indianapolis. It also offers various motivational and enrichment programs. The school s library provides a range of books, newspapers and encyclopedias. Its accelerated reader computerized reading management program motivates students for independent reading. Its distance learning lab has the equipment for classes to conduct video conferencing and share information and projects with students in other schools. It organizes field trips to places, such as the Indianapolis zoo and the children's museum. It offers various activities, such as basketball program, honor roll, pen pals, art club, reading giants and pride singers.
