Located in Indianapolis, Mary E. Nicholson School enrolls more than 350 students in kindergarten through grade six. Governed by Indianapolis Public Schools, its core curriculum includes math, language arts, science and social studies. It also offers classes in art, music and physical education. The school operates a library that stocks a variety of storybooks, picture dictionaries, puzzles, and quiz, fiction and nonfiction books. Mary E. Nicholson School provides several sports activities, such as soccer, baseball, kickball, hockey, football, volleyball and tennis. The school offers assistance with the development of personal character, self-esteem and leadership skills. In addition, it provides special education services for students with developmental disabilities.
