Operated by Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), the School of Physical Education and Tourism Management offers a variety of bachelor s and master s degree, as well as certificate programs. Founded in 1866, it administers programs in military, science and physical education. The school conducts classes in exercise science, fitness studies, sports management, and physical and occupational therapies. The School of Physical Education and Tourism Management provides opportunities for students to choose a range of minors, endorsements and concentrations. It also offers a tourism, conventions and event management degree program that features special events to prepare graduates for management positions in a variety of profit and nonprofit organizations.
