Opened in 1997, the Benjamin Harrison YMCA is a nonprofit organization that offers various youth, sports, child care and family programs. Its facilities include an indoor lap pool, gymnasium and two community rooms. The organization also features a wellness studio for group fitness classes. The Benjamin Harrison YMCA has a more than 6,000-square-foot wellness center and cycling room for group cycling classes. It provides video relay services to people with hearing impairments. The organization is located in Indianapolis and is owned and operated by the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis, which is one of the largest providers of before- and after-school child care services to students in elementary schools.
