Applied Composites Engineering has provided design, manufacture and support of advanced composite structures for more than 20 years. It acquired its Federal Aviation Administration repair station license in 1999 and has provided services to corporate, regional and commercial operators. The company is ISO 9001:2000 certified and AS9100-B accredited. It is capable of repairs and testing services either internally or with its extensive network of associates, including moisture testing of composite structures and complete paint and surface treatment. It also offers other services such as conductivity repair, testing and verification, metal bonding, X-ray and ultrasonic nondestructive testing services, advanced composite design and manufacture and repair. Applied Composites Engineering is headquartered in Indianapolis.
