REA Energy Cooperative is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of electric products and services to more than 24,000 customers in Armstrong, Blair, Cambria, Clearfield, Indiana, Jefferson and Westmoreland counties in western Pennsylvania. Established in 1937 as Southwest Central Rural Electric, the company offers a variety of heating solutions from ConvectAir. It also provides commercial and residential wiring and contracting services. REA Energy Cooperative offers generators of Guardian Electric Generators. The organization provides tree removing and trimming services, as well as surge protectors. It also provides the installation of street lights and meters. REA Energy Cooperative organizes several recreational programs for youths.
