after reviewing the last two negative reviews i have to say that i disagree. i have been dining at vickys for atleast 25 years and have always had excellent meals and service. the best of the whole thing is that this is family ran and not a chain

Vicky's of Santa Fe is a beautiful setting with great ambiance and enticing background piano music. The beauty stops there! The general manager aka owner, Mr. LeLibertie, portrayed highly smug behavior when approached about the meals. Had the manager-owner taken a managerial posture rather than one of a defensive owner listening to the customers rather than attacking them by asking, "Who are y-y-o-o-u-u?" the restaurant and its customers would have been better served. Clearly, the manager-owner escalated the situation by his supercilious, haughty demeanor. It was beneath him to speak to his customers about a reasonable concern. I suppose an owner can be rather arrogant when he does not need to have the restaurant open for months during the summer. Apparently, all he cares about is the money he can pull in to unsuspecting victims....I mean "customers." Mr. LeLiberte needs to participate in Dale Carnegie's course, How to Win Friends and Influence People. He is clearly lacking in this area, supposedly because he does NOT need the business. The least you could have done, Mr. LeLiberte, was answer my email. But then that would have been the professional thing to do. Guess not!
