Starting at age 4, Tiger Cubs will practice listening and following directions. Tiger Cubs develop coordination and the spirit of cooperation through games and group activities. Classes are high energy with lots of physical activity which is known to stimulate brain development. Childrens classes improve focus, self-confidence, and coordination. Through training at Yong-In Martial Arts, improvement of both mind and body occurs, with great emphasis placed on the development of personal character. Students are taught that self-control, self-discipline, kindness and humility must accompany their increased physical strength and ability. Adult classes provide a great workout. Classes feature self defense instruction, physical conditioning, various reaction drills, and training exercises designed to build the skills necessary for effective self defense. YITKD stresses the importance of family in our society today. Our unique family class offers a mix of benefits plus the opportunity for parents and children to share goals and train side by side. All prospective students are invited to come and observe class or participate in a free trial class! Classes are divided by age and experience to provide the best possible match of teaching style to students needs. All students are taught at their own pace to develop their maximum potential.
